Dealer Notes

A five-passenger small crossover SUV, rock-bottom pricing and above-average off-road ability when equipped with a few special options potentially made to suit the mountain biker, traveling repairman for hospital equipment, jet ski hauler who frequently picnics, or weekend canoe fisherman! It's certain that this is more utilitarian than luxury, and has ample ground clearance for going past the end of paved roads to where the air is clean and fish are biting. https://www.jeep.com/en/badge-of-honor/#home Standard features for the Sport include 16-inch alloy wheels, foglights, roof rails, air-conditioning, cruise control, 60/40 split-folding rear seats, a tilt steering wheel, a 115-volt household power outlet and a four-speaker sound system with a CD player and an auxiliary audio jack. The flip down speakers on the raised liftgate are great for outdoor activities The Latitude starts with the Sport's standard features, adds the Altitude Edition features and adds a bright mesh grille, extended exterior and interior chrome trim, a height-adjustable driver seat, a fold-flat front passenger seat, a 115-volt power outlet, plus heated manual folding mirrors body colored and heated front bucket seats with a leather wrapped steering wheel. The Altitude Edition package adds 18-inch black gloss alloy wheels, blacked-out exterior trim, "sport mesh" upholstery, heated front seats and a leather-wrapped steering wheel with audio controls. The High Altitude Edition package starts with the Latitude's equipment roster and throws in 17-inch wheels, leather upholstery, a six-way power driver seat (plus manual lumbar adjustment) and a sunroof. The range-topping Limited adds 18-inch wheels, projector headlamps, additional chrome trim, automatic climate control, leather trim seating, satin silver accents, a driver information display, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a rearview camera, a 6.5-inch touchscreen (with optional hard-drive-based music storage and navigation), a six-CD changer and satellite radio. Standard safety features for all 2015 Jeep Compass models include antilock disc brakes, stability and traction control, front-seat side airbags and side curtain airbags. The 4-wheel independent suspension is another bonus and, to Jeep's credit, even base Sport models offer numerous standard comfort and convenience features, including air conditioning, power door locks, power windows, cruise control, power heated outside mirrors, a removable and rechargeable flashlight and Uconnect media center. Compared with other compact crossovers, the 2015 Jeep Compass is relatively roomy for front-seat occupants, and has a sliding center armrest. A small bonus is the slide feature of the visors now have about 4-6 inches movement away from the a pillar. Also, the front passenger seat folds down for carrying long things like surfboards, or bedframes. I wonder, could the case for a cello or bass fit? Probably. Buyer to verify all equipment stated for accuracy before purchase. Second key, floor mats, and owners manual may not be available on all pre-owned vehicles. Not responsible for typos.

I got my 2016 Jeep Compass in April last year and have loved it ever since. It may not be a mustang, camaro, or a Big Bad Wrangler, but it still is great. I had never heard of the car till we went to look at it. Its almost a year later are we put in an aftermarket radio and subs and now its popin. Plus people just love it because it has the jeep name. I can be your jeep with out the Jeep price.

My wife and I are first owners on this jeep. Swore yrs. ago to never own one as aside from off-road, all I knew who had 'em, swore at 'em for being so unreliable, but stopped at a Jeep, Dodge, and Ford dealership on the way to check out Kia for a new Sportage as ours was 11 yrs. old at the time. Took out a Latitude with the CVT and after hearing a perpetual trans. sound, drove back to the dealer with no intent of even trying another. My wife spotted a Compass Sport with the 2.0 liter 5-speed stick shift in the lot and she loves driving stick shift so off we went again. The difference was stunning! This Jeep was dead quiet, moved out easily with the standard tranny and was several thousand less then the Latitude. Walked away from it, but within a couple days after testing Honda CR-V and Toyota Rav4...went back to dealer to test again. In short time, we decided this was the best bet. It's been extremely reliable, though FWD, it's been through blizzards, ice, etc. and has gotten us through it all while feeling stable and safe in doing so. Average in Summer is 31-33 and in Winter 29-31. Use Synthetic oil, have changed tires and had front brakes re-done around 50 K. The seats and fabric are both comfortable and "soft touch" , heater comes on strong in Winter and Same goes for AC on my trips to TX and 110 degree days. One of the smoothest transmissions much to the enjoyment of my wife. Lastly, as days get shorter in Winter, have nothing but praise for the excellent headlights as well as the fog lights...this is something few take into consideration, but our Compass we feel is exceptional in this regard.

I LOVED this SUV. I wanted to drive it til the wheels fell off- unfortunately I totaled it. But rear ending at 45mph air bags deployed like they should and me and my kids walked away uninjured. Minor things went wrong: within 2 years of owning- clock wouldn't keep time. Within 5 years: CD player wouldn't work, hydraulics went out on hatch, replaced breaks, funky rattle sound no one could figure out. 7 years: replaced spark plugs It was comfy, drove great if a little sluggish to accelerate once miles were on it. Little snug for 5 people but 4 fit nice. Wish it had a bit more trunk room but it is a crossover and not a true SUV.
